Google has revealed its 50 most popular women on the web or most searched after names on the web. Lady Gaga topped the list at having 85,900,000 results followed by Ke$ ha at 76,100,000, Madonna (even at the age of 51 is still proving her popular pull) had 61,300,000 entries… and, inexplicably, Justin Bieber had 34,200,000.
Since Lady Gaga tops the 50 most popular women on the web I thought it would be interesting to see what kinds of little known biographical information about this person could be gleaned through a quick perusing through Google’s search engine. I typed in Lady Gaga in the Google keyword box and the search engine reported over 84 million articles. Here are some interesting tidbits about Lady Gaga that I came across:
#10) Lady Gaga Claims She is a Celibate Bisexual?
Sounds like an oxymoron, but she indeed has claimed both. According to people.com, Lady Gaga says, “I’m celibate, celibacy’s fine.” Gaga says she is advocating a ban on sex for herself in part because the HIV cases among women around the world have steadily risen. But the other motivation behind her new push for abstinence has to do with elevating the pursuit of relationships over the pursuit of sex. Lady Gaga says, “It’s okay not to have sex, it’s okay to get to know people,” and “You don’t have to have sex to feel good about yourself, and if you’re not ready, don’t do it … It’s not really cool anymore to have sex all the time. It’s cooler to be strong and independent.”
However, she revealed that the song “Poker Face” was about her bisexuality. In an interview with Rolling Stone, she spoke about how her boyfriends tended to react uncomfortably to her bisexuality, saying “The fact that I’m into women, they’re all intimidated by it, according to en.wikipedia.com. She also fears her family will disown her if she dates a woman.
#9) Her Stage Name Came From Queen’s Song “Radio Ga Ga”
Music producer Rob Fusari helped create the moniker Gaga according to this story:
“Every day, when Stef came to the studio, instead of saying hello, I would start singing ‘Radio Ga Ga.’ That was her entrance song. [Lady Gaga] was actually a glitch; I typed ‘Radio Ga Ga’ in a text and it did an autocorrect so somehow ‘Radio’ got changed to ‘Lady’. She texted me back, “That’s it.” After that day, she was Lady Gaga. She’s like, “Don’t ever call me Stefani again.”—Rob Fusari
Her real name–Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.

Lady Gaga has one sister, 17 yr.old Natali Germanotta, mother Cynthia and father Joseph.
#7) Bleaches her Hair to Avoid Amy Winehouse Comparisons
